I spent most of the day trying to think of something insightful to post, but alas nothing. I wanted to post something insightful, due to yesterday's not being much of anything, but today I still found nothing.
Today, I did however recycle a mattress. Yes, I said recycle. For $20 and driving 19 miles, I greenly disposed of a mattress. I felt really good about that.
In addition to mattress recycling I applied for a paid internship. If you are an avid reader of my blog you understand how I feel about internships, but this one seemed good and more learning is always necessary for job growth.
I also went to the dentist today and found dental insurance is not all that it is cracked up to be.

Yes -- you should do something creative as it does run in your genes. We think you should have blogs go viral -- either do video or just write and get a book published of your daily life and adventures. It borderlines on Seinfeld concept as writing a book about "nothing". Or focus on the unemployed. It would sell millions if any of us could afford it. It is amuzing, light-hearted, honest and painfully true to all of us unemployed out there. I can provide 12 months of non-working insight now for you too after 27 yrs in the workforce. Brie can also attest to much of what you say. I'm sure if Theo could speak he would only share the most amuzing stories of your time spent with him -- as also would my 2 boxers (Thor and Tyson) and Brie's cat Katy. The new animal forum could all start as the trials of having unemployed owners ... their point of view being stuck home with us -- is it cruelty or craziness? See another title awaits you.
So keep up ther great work, optimistic attitude, watch your back on CL -- I read it daily too -- and give Theo a treat for me. We love ya -- Kristi & Brie (your two favrorite aunts!)
